Mirko Pincelli – Director
Mirko is a photographer, photojournalist and filmmaker. He has developed a deeply personal style, exploring reportage photography and extremely visual character-led short documentaries. He graduated with a BA Honours in Photography from the University of East London at the department of Architecture and Visual Arts. He worked four years for an established media production company before starting his own creative company, ‘Pincelli Studio’. In the last few years Mirko has been able to focus on character-driven documentaries such as Uspomene 677; this is his real passion.
Director Notes
““We don’t want these epic and remarkable stories to be swept under the carpet and be forgotten forever. Most of the people we met are extremely scared that another ethnic war might break out very soon if all the relative groups fail to acknowledge their respective responsibilities.”

There has been no real reckoning for the crimes committed in Bosnia Herzegovina, no calling to account on the ground and in the villages, despite all the trials in The Hague and in Bosnia. Atrocities for which there is no reckoning leave a dangerous legacy.
